Description
The is one of two similar Rosenthal Plates in my eBay shop that have been designed by Bele Bachem for Rosenthal, Germany They both date to the 1960s - and are fully marked to the back of each plate, as photographed. The plates are made of porcelain and are triangular in shape with three rounded corners. This one features a pretty young girl who is sitting in a garden - she has been picking flowers and carries a wicker basket. She is surrounded by little birds. In the background is a naughty boy shaking the branches of a tree to scare out the nesting birds. Each side of the plate is 7 3/4 inches. It is in excellent condition with no damages or condition issues.
