Vintage 1960s Decorative Plate by Rosenthal. Designed by Bele Bachem Excellent condition, no chips or cracks The is one of two similar Rosenthal Plates in my eBay shop that have been designed by Bele Bachem for Rosenthal, Germany They both date to the 1960s - and are fully marked to the back of each plate, as photographed. The plates are made of porcelain and are triangular in shape with three rounded corners. This one features a pretty young girl in pedal pusher slacks, a pink blouse and a large sun hat. She is resting in an orchard in the mid-day sun. There is a tree covered with flitting birds to the right - and in the mid-distance, there is a little man sitting in a horse-drawn cart and going along a dust road in the fields and towards the hills in the far distance. Each side of the plate is 7 3/4 inches. It is in good condition with no damages or condition issues.
