Description
Center bead 8mm, qualified as larger beads necklace among Mikimoto necklace. Two end pearls 5.5mm. Most beads between 7-8mm. Clasp is silver. The pearls are minimally used. The high luster and mirror like shine can show its premium quality. You can even see my outfit from the pearl reflection….this reflects high quality. Based on the clasp style and box, it’s a high tier Mikimoto necklace from the 60s-70s. Please note that Mikimoto used way better pearls back then with its vintage pearls. Today, even their Q1 tier pearls are not as nice as their vintage pearls, mostly when it comes to the thickness of the nectar, which decides the longevity of the pearls., and the shines. This clasp style also indicates again that it’s a high tier piece. Because of the size of the pearls, the clasp style, and the condition of the pearls, the price is set on the higher end. It’s a hard to find piece.
