Hand Carved Wood & Soapstone Kayak with Eskimo Hunter Inuit Inupiat Artist Hansel Komaktok, Nome Alaska, 1988. Measures approx. 15 ¼”. Kayak, paddle and harpoon are wood. The other items are different shades of soapstone. His hands holding the paddle have been broken and glued more than once. The front area of the wood kayak has also been broken and glued. The package came two days earlier than predicted. Great care was taken in packing and keeping the doll safe. The doll was in great shape and just as described. The value was reasonable . I was excited to get the doll ahead of the predicted arrive. I could not wait to clean and dress her. She has a wardrobe and shoes. She is an excellent addition to my collection. Package arrived on time and packaged well. Item was wrapped in original box and was as described. Very pleased. I feel like the value of the item was fair, due to crack in the pump housing that does leak when pressured up, which I totally expected, but I think it’s repairable. The stove and bottle were in excellent condition. Pleased with purchased would by from seller again. Thank you.
