Antique Wabisabi Japan Suzuri-bako writing box 1880 Meiji craft
Antique Wabisabi Japanese Suzuribako writing set, complete of Suzuri stone, ink bar, Fude brush, Bunchin paper weight and stone ink bar holder (one leg damaged). Ware from extensive and long usage, old ink stains on all surface. Nice patina and character, immediately usable.
Period: 1890 – 1900 Meiji era
Dimensions:  24x 16.5 x 9.5 cm,  total weight 1.740 Kg + wrapping
