Vtg Modernist Silver Gold & Blue Opal Disc + Sterling Necklace - Diagonal Italy. I am not sure if the opal is natural or lab-created. I think the gold parts may be plated or gold fill, as there is a bit of tarnish on the top section (see 2nd picture). It is marked “Diagonal Italy 925”. It is marked “Diagonal Italy 925”. The pendant is not marked, but I believe it is sterling because it was tarnished like sterling and, from my research, it appears that Diagonal made similar modernist pendants.
