Lakewood steel scattershield for SB,BB(348,409) Chevy,fits 1955-72 chassis,clutch bellcrank mount to late 1970's, includes early throw-out arm & bearing. accepts' Saginaw,Borg Warner T10,Muncie & Doug Nash ; 4,5 speeds Some one cut out the bottom to use on the street(easier clutch change) apparently later re-welded to function as a proper scatter shield. I bought one of these brand new in the 1980's,so I am very familiar with these. had it bolted up to a 327 & 409 and used Super T-10 BW, later a Doug Nash 5-Speed ~(NOTE: this is not pre-drilled to accept 55-57 rear motor mount plates.) good working some trimming on bell housing starter mount (early use) bottom has been cut & rewelded. missing thin plate that fits behind flywheel âWe strive to be factual & accurate as possible.
