b ***LQQK AT THIS ESTATE SALE FIND*** *****Please Read Ad Fully ***** *** *** Up for your consideration is the Vintage BTNB DOOR PULL LOT OF TWO shown in the ( up to 12 ) photos. VERY HEAVY MADE!!! (See Weight Below) One of Birmingham Alabama's earliest banks ( see article photos. ) Though history and through name changes, acquisitions , mergers, etc., BTNB has had ties to many other banks, Birmingham Trust and Savings Company, BTNB, South Trust, Wachovia, Wells Fargo ( see articles in photos #8 & #9 ) Bought at the estate of a former BTNB employee. We were told that these were the the door pulls plates were fastened to a bar across the entrance doors to the bank at the time of its acquisition by the South Trust Corporation. BTNB had many branches, we do not know which branch/location these are from. These pulls measure approximately 7" X 11". Approximately 7/8" thick on the sides Made of metal (Brass, we think?) These pulls are VERY heavy each one weighs a little over 14 Lbs. !!! Total weight of the pair is between 28 and 30 pounds!!! The former employee added the small triangle pieces on the sides, so that they could be used as bookends. These triangles are held on by screws and can be removed. These door pulls are a rare find, you have probably never seen these for sale before and probably never will again! These are the only 2 that we have! Selling as a pair only.
