This is a very rare uncut printer's proof poster! Before a poster is printed in large quantities, the printer would first print a limited number of posters as "proof" posters. The printers would look over these proofs and make corrections as to color or cropping issues. They would next print a new proof, and sometimes a series of proofs were needed before a final "approved" version was done. Once the final proof was printed, they would then print a number of "printer's test" posters which would then be distributed to everyone connected to the project, so that they could "sign off on it". They would then print the full run of "regular" posters. MY RESEARCH FINDS THAT THE SKETCHES WERE PRINTED AND SOLD AS WELL AS SETS OF PLAYING CARDS. I SEE BOTH OF THEM ON EBAY. WHAT MAKES THIS POSTER SO RARE IS THAT IT IS A PRINTER'S TEST PROOF POSTER THAT HAS NOT BEEN CUT UP, ALSO NOT THE "COLOR BAR" ON FAR LEFT. IN THIS CASE IT IS A BLACK COLOR BAR. ONE THING I CAN NOT FIGURE OUT IS IF THE CHRIS EVERT SKETCH WAS EVER RELEASED. I CAN NOT FIND IT. IF SOMEONE HAS MORE INFO PLEASE MESSAGE ME FINE CONDITION, LIGHT CREASES THAT DO NOT AFFECT THE IMAGES, NO PIN HOLES OR TAPE, NO YELLOWING OR FADING, 23" X 29" BY FOLLOWING THE SCRIBE MARKS, AN ORIGINAL SINGLE PRINT SHOULD BE 11" X 14 1/2".
