RARE Seiko A259-5050 Alarm Chronograph Vintage LCD Digital Stainless Steel Watch This is a genuine vintage Seiko Alarm Chronograph, model A259-5050, made in Japan and featuring the classic perforated speaker grille above the LCD display, a hallmark of Seiko's late 1970s and early 1980s digital lineup. The display shows hour, minute, and second along with day of the week abbreviation and month-date indicator, with ALARM and TIMER function labels in yellow and STOP WATCH 1/100SEC. in blue across the top. Labeled pushers control LOCK, MODE, START-STOP, SELECT, LIGHT, A. STOP, LAP-RESET, and SET functions. The screw-down case back is stamped Seiko, serial 967046, water resist stainless steel, JAPAN-G, model A259-5050 A2, with OPEN and CLOSE indicators around the sub-case. The fully articulated stainless steel bracelet features the original Seiko fold-over clasp and fits wrists from roughly 6 to 8 inches. Condition This watch presents in good, solidly wearable condition for its age. The stainless steel case shows light overall surface scratching typical of a vintage piece that has been worn and handled over the decades, with the case back showing scuffing around the screw-down sub-case from prior battery changes.
