Vintage Freshwater pearl in 14k Solid Yellow gold Twisted Rope Dangling earrings. Estate sale item: These are a beautiful pair of 14k gold earrings. they Feature a Stud design with a ball that has a flattened off face as the base, attaching a twisted wire/rope in a almost water drop/tear drop design, featuring a single freshwater pearl suspended within the sculpted loop. The pearl almost looks as if it’s lightly floating/resting on the loop. They have a simple, elegant design and would be suitable for both daily wear or special occasions. They’re from my aunts estate so likely from the 1980’s at least, maybe older. Every part of the earring, except for the pearl obviously, is made of 14k Solid yellow gold, including the earring backers themselves. Total weight is 1.64 Grams. They’re in fantastic shape for their age, with only the smallest signs of wear in the way of small/fine scuffs/marks on parts of high polished sections that are really only noticeable upon a close up detailed inspection with a magnifying lens.
