Here is a vintage Coach black leather Companion bag purse style number #5625. This classic purse was made in New York City in the 1980s. New York was the original place where Coach bags were made, then the United States, and then worldwide. This purse has two slip pockets on the front. It closes with a thick brass zipper using a leather pull. Inside has an open black leather pocket with the creed. The shoulder strap has lobster clips and is detachable, so the purse can be used as clutch. This purse is in very good condition. A few light scratches on the front of the purse. I took very closes picutres of this purse, on the back sides show where the purse was as a clutch. Measurements are 10 1/2"L x 7 1/2"W. The strap is 40 inches long. Fabulous thick leather Coach first initially on their purses. Measurements are 10 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide and 21/2 inches deep.
