FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE.... Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal. Vintage bisque figurine of a Coal Miner pushing a Mine Cart. Made of porcelain with hand painted details, the figure has a crown mark with the letter "S" on the base, see photo. Marked on the side of the base..... "David Fisher, Copyright Saxony, 1984". The figure was created with nice detailing. It stands approximately 5 inches tall, measures 3 inches wide at the base and 7 inches in length. I added one photo with a standard size playing card as a reference for size. From whence this came, it was previously displayed and has survived prior ownership free of chips, cracks or repairs. MUCH OBLIGED
This purchase involved some high-end solid silver tableware, and was an international order. Excellent product description: mass, fineness, hallmarks, esoterica, and quality pictures. Excellent shipping, double boxed - arrived unscathed, somehow weeks ahead of schedule. Reasonable shipping costs. "Old Madeira" is an *outstanding* seller.
