Vintage 1970s Timex Electric Dynabeat | Brown Sunburst | RUNNING | New Battery. • Model: Dynabeat Electric. • Dial: Original dark brown sunburst finish; white baton indices; orange sweep hand. The real beauty of this watch is the deep copper/coffee sunburst dial with a white markings and the orange secondhand. This is a Vintage Timex Electric Dynabeat from the 1970s. The "Dynabeat" was a high-frequency evolution of Timex's earlier electric watches, featuring a balance wheel that beats at 28,800 BPH, resulting in a much smoother sweep of the second hand compared to standard electrics or mechanicals of that era. • Manufacturer: Timex • Model: Dynabeat Electric • Era: 1970s • Movement: 28,800 BPH High-Beat Electromechanical • Battery: Brand new battery installed April 2026; tested and running • Dial: Original dark brown sunburst finish; white baton indices; orange sweep hand • Case: Chrome-plated base metal; stainless steel back; approx. 35mm cushion case. No apparent plate loss on the case. There are scratches you would expect from a vintage watch of this age. The very left side of case does have some visible scratches/wear. Crystal does have some expected scratches from age and a small crack at the lower 6 o’clock position at the edge. The crack is low down on the crystal and not readily noticeable unless you are really looking for it in my opinion. • Band: Stainless steel vintage period correct Speidel flex expansion bracelet. The real beauty of this watch is the deep copper/coffee sunburst dial with a white markings and the orange secondhand. Visually very attractive. Watch is running and keeping time. Service history is unknown and accuracy and/or power reserve not tested over 24 hours. As with all vintage watches, service may be necessary in the future. Sold “as‑is” as a vintage mechanical watch.
