Charming, and wonderful, vintage 1950s, Venice, Italy, harlequin, souvenir dolls. Their handcrafted, felt costumes, and painted, composition, faces are very detailed and expressive. The plastic glass eyes, and painted masks, make each, doll, unique and fun. They’re both in gently used condition with minor flaws. Offering free USPS Ground Advantage shipping! The doll with the patchwork outfit, has a makers, foil tag, on his right ankle. The tag says Creazoni Gipi, Venice, Italy. On the doll’s left hand, is a paper tag, marked, Arlecchino. This doll measures 8” 3/4 tall with its felt, feather on top of the hat. The arm length is 3” 3/4 wide. Both of the doll’s tags, contain minor creasing. There’s also some rabbit fur, for his hair, and is missing some, and sheds at times. There’s some wear/aging stains on the right, coat, sleeve collar, as well as some on his left sleeve arm collar. There’s also some minor paint loss on the dolls’s right hand. There’s also some minor aging on The black and white, costumed doll, measures 8” 1/2 tall and with its arms spread, 3” 1/4 wide. This doll’ has two dark, stains on the middle his mask. There’s also some paint loss on the fall’s upper, left lip. He also has an age again on the back, left, felt collar. This doll has a paper tag, on his right ankle, marked ‘Pulcinella’ which is the doll’s character name. He also has a small, gold plated, foil tag, on his left ankle, marked, Creazoni, Venice Italy, in small writing. No other stains, or damage on the doll’s costume. His legs bend a little, can be repositioned. There’s a loose, string on the back of his collar. They each, stand on their own, but I recommend, some doll stands for extra, stability when displayed. Selling as is/as found, because of the noted flaws, and condition. A must have for unique, Italian souvenir dolls, with a harlequin theme.
