This vintage 1930s petite evening bag is a stunning piece of French craftsmanship, adorned with intricate filigree and rhinestone embellishments. Exquisite piece expertly artisan hand crafted in France, probably in the 30s as art deco craftsmanship was emerging at about this time. The exterior is in excellent condition with no issues. There is a gold lame type of fabric beneath the metal construction, and there are iridescent rhinestone studded embellishments on the front and back of the purse, and on the clasp. The satin lining is intact , the coloration shows age, but integrity is intact. Clasp closes nice and tight. Rare. I have found one other available in Italy for 380 euros, and it does not have the extra rhinestone bling of this piece. Chain is 16" (use this as measurement - not the length shown on model), purse is approx. 6" x 5.5" x 1".
