Aus allen Rohren Feuer und Verderben speiend pflügt sich The Beast unbeirrt durch den riesigen Ozean des Death-Metal-Mittelmaßes und bleibt stur auf Zerstörungskurs. Im Gegensatz zum nicht minder starken Vorgänger Revelations wurde das Tempo insgesamt wieder einen Tick stärker angezogen, so dass das Todesblei-Schlachtschiff des öfteren auf Rammgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt und mehr als einmal in Old-School-Thrash-Metal-Gewässern kreuzt. Paradebeispiele hierfür sind der in bester Slayer-Manier abgehende Opener "Out Of The Deep", das völlig entfesselte "Firebringer" und der extrem derbe Schädelspalter "Insomnia". Dem Midtempo gänzlich verschlossen haben sich die Polen allerdings auch nicht. So kreist die Axt bei Songs wie "The Sea Came In At Last" oder "Apopheniac" deutlich langsamer. Der Wucht und Durchschlagskraft der gewohnt rau und eigenständig klingenden Songs tut das allerdings keinen Abbruch. Gewöhnungsbedürftig -- aber gut! -- ist allenfalls das Spiel von Session-Drummer Daray, der den verletzungsbedingt ausgefallenen Stammschlagzeuger Doc vertritt. Vader ziehen auch nach mehr als 15 Jahren Bandgeschichte unbeirrt ihr eigenes Ding durch, schauen nicht auf kurzlebige Trends und setzen -- ähnlich wie die Briten Bolt Thrower -- mit schöner Regelmäßigkeit immer wieder neue Genremarksteine.   2. Received item as described and packaged well. Listing indicated shipping was free. Ordered on the 7th but by the 14th noticed it hadn’t been shipped yet. Seller responded quickly saying that during the purchase process that it said it would not be shipped until the 22nd because they use a fulfillment house. I don’t recall seeing anything about delayed shipping during the process or in the listing. While I appreciate the prompt response to my inquiry, other buyers should be aware of delays.

  3. The book was brand still plastic wrapped. Looks exactly like the picture for a reasonable price including shipping. In perfect condition. Shipping was slow and I was worried that I was scammed again. Seller did respond to my message after a day and explained the item would be shipped within a week. The item shipping and tracking was updated by the date they stated. Took about 2 weeks to receive item. I’m usually impressed when item is shipped and received within a week.
