This listing is for the red one(One piece only!): Antique Vintage Wheeling Ceramic Tile Trivet Red Bird Cardinalis Hand-painted and Signed by Artist: NRN 59. A rare find! The author is one of those artists to view the natural world of birds, animals and plants as a subject worthy of attention. Lovely northern cardinal ( Cardinalis cardinalis) painted on a blossom tree. Native American lore holds that if you have encountered a cardinal, expect good luck to follow, possibly in 12 hours, 12 days, or at noon or midnight. Marked WHEELING on back (Wheeling Pottery USA) SIZE: Measures approx. 6" in diameter and 1/4" thick. Artist signed, with initials, and dated: NRN 59. Has a metal ring on the back, so it’s ready to hung and enjoy; you could be also have these 2 tiles matted and framed. Good condition, with minor imperfections, noting noticeable.
