All I ask is that with gold plate pieces require a bit more care - as perfume, lotions and body oils can tarnish these pieces. To ensure and preserve the beauty of your purchase, please do not apply perfume directly on to items, or wear your jewelry immediately after applying perfume and/or lotions. If you don't have time to wait after applying perfume, gently apply a bit of talc powder in the area to absorb the lingering oils that cause GP items to fade or pit. If cared for properly, can last you a lifetime! GOLD FILLED: In order to provide you with elegant jewelry at a reasonable price, I do offer the option of Gold Filled findings. GF jewelry is composed of a SOLID LAYER of gold that is bonded to a base of another metal such as sterling silver (vermeil), or copper, and NOT plated, which has been known to wear over time.
