Tote Bag Reclaimed Tan Denim Toile Plaid Flannel Reversible Handmade 17x13x4 in One of a kind handmade eco-friendly tote/book bag fashioned out of recycled/upcycled/reclaimed denim, vintage canvas red toile from a set of placemats, and plaid cotton flannel from a men's flannel shirt. Reversible! Side 1: The top section is made from red toile in a heavy weight cotton. The bottom section is made with tan denim. The tan denim was cut from cotton jeans and patched together. The red and off-white toile is cut from a 100% cotton canvas vintage placemat. Side 2: This side is a replica of Side 1 but without a pocket and the addition of several small lace flowers. Reverse Both sides (front and back of the reverse side of the tote) are made from the same tan denim and a red plaid cotton flannel upcycled from a men's flannel shirt. One side of the plaid has a tan denim pocket. Tote handles are also made from upcycled tan denim and have been channel stitched for durability. Features two pockets, cut from same upcycled tan color jeans as used on the body of the bag and the handles. There is one pocket on the exterior and a second on the interior. The tote has fleece interfacing, adding body to the bag. Fleece is not upcycled, it is new. Pockets measure about 6.5 in long and 6.5 in wide Measurements (approximate): Width (measured along the top edge from side seam to side seam): 17.5 inches Length (measured from the top opening to the gusset seam along the side seam): 15.5 inches Gusset: 4-3/8 inches at seam line Handles are 1-1/8in wide with a 11.5 inch drop The tote has an open top (no closures) Condition: New, unused one of a kind tote bag handmade with reclaimed/upcycled/repurposed material - denim, cotton toile and flannel. Handmade, machine sewn one at a time, hand-cut, hand assembled, therefore....perfectly imperfect! Fleece interfacing is new (not upcycled). Due to the nature of the materials used (upcycled clothing and fabric), there may be some minor spots, pulls or fraying. There are small lace flowers on the toile (side without pocket).
