Description
The Flying Lizards - "Fourth Wall" 1981 OG Canadian vinyl on Virgin, VM 2211. Record Grading: VG+. Jacket Grading: VG+. GRADING POLICY: We grade all of our records and music media under strong light to give the most conservatively accurate grading as possible. We do our best to play test any records that have any imperfections (warps, marks/smudges, feel-able scratches) that we see in order for us to apply the most accurate grading possible. Any "rare or hard to find" records will presumably be play tested. Any grading remarks that are particular to a specific item will be applied in the item listing description. RECORD GRADING SCALE: Mint, M(sealed): This grade will ONLY be used if the record is sealed. Record condition is as is. Near Mint, NM: Record will have no observational marks. Will appear unplayed. NM grade will hardly ever be used. Very Good Plus Plus, VG++: Record will only have a couple of marks or will look unplayed. Closest grade to NM. Jackets will appear clean with no apparent signs of wear. Very Good Plus, VG+: Record could have some light marks, scratches, or smudges that do not affect playback (DNAP). Could have a light pop or crackle here or there but otherwise plays without apparent surface noise. Could have very slight playback wobble, but not warped. Labels may have writing but are not marred. Jackets may have light corner/edge wear, light creases, or very light discoloration. No seam splits. Very Good, VG: Record will have some marks, scratches, and/or smudges. Light/mild surface at times or throughout duration of playback, but otherwise doesn't overpower the music and plays well. Record could contain slight storage warp (will be stated in description) but will be play tested to confirm playback grade. Jacket could contain a seam split or corner split (will be stated in description), staining, moderate corner/edge wear, ring wear, tape or writing. Very Good Minus, VG-: Closely graded with VG but with more cosmetic marks that DNAP. Playback/surface noise could be more apparent throughout, but not overpowering. Maybe some extra crackle or pops, but otherwise plays well. Jacket wear will be more apparent on VG-. Good Plus, G+: Record will have many marks and/or scratches. Maybe a few feel-able marks that cause some ticking or noise. Surface noise/crackle will be apparent throughout. Record won't skip or jump during playback. Jackets will contain seam and/or corner splits or strong corner/edge wear. Water damage, taped seams, or writing. Good, G: Lowest grade given. Record will have many marks and scratches with strong surface noise throughout. Feel-able marks, crackle. Marred labels. Record won't skip or jump during playback (unless stated in description, we generally don't like to sell records that skip/jump). Most, if not all, records with this grade will have been play tested to ensure the record will play without skipping/jumping. Jackets will have bad seam splits and heavy wear, and/or barely attached.
