This stapler firmly secures up to 20 sheets of paper and works best with standard size Swingline S.F. 4 Premium Staples. Standard staples have 1/4” length legs. This stapler also easily produces pointed staples for temporarily pinning paper: just reverse the anvil by pushing and rotating the adjustable knob at the bottom of the stapler and press for a temporary staple you can easily remove.
