Georges Briard 22k gold gilt Hot Air Balloon high ball glasses/Vintage Barware/MCM tumblers/retro highballs/retro drinkware/HTF/Rare/VTG/60s Set of 4 RARE Georges Briard 22k gold gilt high ball tumblers featuring a hot air balloon and celestial motif in blue and green. These glasses are fun and kitschy with their over-the-top use of applied gold gilt and whimsical theme. The gold complements the rich blue and green colors well and they are sure to catch your eye! Each glass is signed by Georges Briard and is in great vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks but there is some very slight gold loss throughout. Please see the photos for more details regarding the condition. This pattern is very hard to find and is rarely on the market for purchase. This item is cross-posted to Etsy. Item arrived quickly, but it wasn’t bubble wrapped or properly protected. So, unfortunately one of the figure’s legs was broken on arrival. This was extremely disappointing for a collectible item and would've been catastrophic if more of them broke but one is already upsetting:( I hope that it can be glued together but there's still going to be a noticeable crack nonetheless. Better packaging would help prevent damage.
