Description

Any serious Seiko vintage collector should know how precious this piece is. In April of 1969 Seiko launched the first ever integrated automatic chronograph, the legendary 6139 movement. For the next 10 years a litany of amazing dials and case styles were made taking advantage of that very versatile and sturdy movement. This reference in particular only ran a very short run of production, most likely only made in 1970 but some made it into early 71. Only for the Japanese domestic market (JDM) and only the Speed Timer Seiko 5 version was available. This piece is 100% original including the very hard to find original railroad bracelet. I am a lifelong vintage Seiko collector and it hurts me to let this baby go but I have to downsize my collection and I am sure whoever picks it up will treat it as good as I did.
