VINYL TITLE โ€” ARTIST (YEAR) โ€ข CATALOG Artist: Grateful Dead Album: From The Mars Hotel Label: Grateful Dead Records Catalog Number: GD 102 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue Country: US Released: 1979 Genre: Rock Style: Psychedelic Rock, Folk Rock ๐Ÿ’ฟ DESCRIPTION This is the 1979 vinyl reissue of the Grateful Dead's classic seventh studio album, "From The Mars Hotel." Originally released in 1974, this version was brought back to shelves in the late 70s to satisfy the growing demand for the band's independent catalog. History & Edition Details: While the 1974 original was distributed independently, this 1979 reissue represents the period when the band's self-owned label, Grateful Dead Records, utilized larger distribution networks (such as Arista or Liberty/United Artists, as indicated by the sticker on the back of this copy). It retains the iconic artwork by Kelley/Mouse, including the famous "Ugly Rumors" mirror-reading text on the front. ๐Ÿ’Ž CONDITION vinyl: Presumed MINT (unplayed) cover: Factory-sealed, never opened ๐Ÿงพ NOTES FOR COLLECTORS Original Shrink Wrap: A well-preserved copy that still has the protective shrink, which is highly desirable for maintaining the integrity of the jacket. 1979 Reissue Identification: The cover appears to match a first press with "AUTHENTIC" embossed on the front, but the back cover has a United Artists sticker with a 1979 copyright affixed to the bottom right hand corner Musicianship: Features the classic lineup with Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, and Keith & Donna Godchaux. ๐Ÿ” MATRIX / LABEL DETAILS Labels: Authentic Grateful Dead Records "Mars Hotel" illustrated labels. Back Cover: Includes the distribution sticker/credit relevant to the 1979 re-release cycle. Matrix (Side A): GD-102-A (followed by pressing plant etchings) Matrix (Side B): GD-102-B (followed by pressing plant etchings) ๐Ÿ“ฆ SHIPPING ๐Ÿ“ฎ STANDARD: 5โ€“30 DAYS โ€” FREE SHIPPING โœˆ๏ธ INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY: 5โ€“15 DAYS โ€” 30$ ๐Ÿšš FEDEX EXPRESS: 3โ€“7 DAYS โ€” 65$ WORLD OF AUDIOPHILE (EBAY SELLER) 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK โ€ข FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM: @WORLD_OF_AUDIOPHILE โญ LATEST BUYER FEEDBACK โ€œABSOLUTELY STUNNING VINYL! 1. Absolute flawless international shipping, was fun to see all the stops the package made during delivery, van halen box set was packed professionally and shipped priority without any import tax at all. Item was exactly as described and the only one available anywhere, item was unopened sealed and considered extremely rare from 1984. This was the best experience I've ever had on ebay, all questions were answered directly and promptly. Definitely saving this seller for future purchases. Thank you

  2. The records were as described, honest seller. I wish I had information from seller that the tracking wasnโ€™t to my address, that it was going to a different address, and then being forwarded. Following the tracking had me concerned. So I recommend buyers communicate with the seller to understand that the tracking may not (at least in my case) indicate that it might go to a different address. Once it was forwarded I did receive tracking to my home. Still, great records, safe packaging.
