Round, flat bottom to stand up, and flat front to back. Faux leatherette, I believe. Silvertone, snaps and slide closure hooked to strap. Keeps items secure, small enough to carry in travel bag. Measures 6" x 5 1/2". With 2 1/2" full depth divided into top and bottom compartments. Once opened, you first see ladder like multiple ring holder in center of bottom divide. This cute organizer has 2 half moon recessed compartments for larger items like watches , bracelets or pendants. The top 1/2 has a snap closure, once opened reveals 2 straps with snaps to hold maybe flexible bracelets, and there are 4 sets of holes on each strap to secure stud type earrings. The compartments are soft textured, smooth , so it doesnt scratch jewelry.
