Handsome hand-colored antique bird print of a probable adult male Marsh Harrier (Eurasian & African) from a book that appeared in 6 parts in Paris, 1796-1808 “ Historie Naturelle des Oiseau d’Afrique ” by Francois Le Vaillant. The birds were painted by Johann F. L. Reinhold with engravings on wood done by Fissart & Perée. Print cut down a bit on bottom, otherwise in excellent condition, ca. 9 1/4" x 9 1/4." Quite rare. $45
