MARCONI is considered one of the early diffusion lines associated with R.W.C. Rolex Watch Company and was marketed as a luxury timepiece for wealthy customers during the early twentieth century. The watch features a calm dark dial close to matte black combined with elegant Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions and wedge-shaped hour markers on the remaining indexes. The naturally aged dauphine hands and vintage dial texture create a unique antique atmosphere impossible to reproduce in modern watches. The small seconds subdial at the 6 o’clock position further enhances the classical design. The movement is believed to be based on a Swiss A. Schild ebauche movement, a respected movement manufacturer widely used by prestigious Swiss watch brands during the period. The watch was professionally overhauled by an experienced overseas watchmaker with disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and servicing completed. Winding and operation remain smooth, and the watch maintains approximately within 5 minutes daily deviation when placed flat, which is considered standard performance for an antique watch of this era.
