Description

Print after a painting: Portrait of Eleazar Swalmius (1582-1652). Etching, and Copper engraving by Abraham Conradus (1612/13-1661), after Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669), c. 1650. Good condition. Nice and strong impression. With a little stain and a small repaired tear just affecting the text. Mounted on an 19th century album leaf. Note: the original painting is held in the collection of the Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten in Antwerp. Dimensions: 261 x 210 mm.
