A 1000 thread count certainly didn't translate to crisp smooth sheets. This is my fault for not understanding TC lore. The sheets feel thick, rough and are not the smooth crisp sensation I anticipated. The sheets look and feel, a little, like winter flannelette ones. My mistake. Please do your research into TC and the likely feel before buying.
