The stylus arrived as described. This stylus, when examined under high magnification is a highly polished black diamond with a nice ball point on the end. Great for records. Unfortunately many styluses available now appear to be attempts at line contact styluses that didn’t work out and had their tips truncated. This gives them a flat end which is not as good for records. If you care about your records, I recommend buying a microscope that allows you to examine the condition of your stylus.
There was an issue with my order, but seller worked to resolve it promptly and shipped a replacement quickly.
