The watch has a 10K yellow gold-filled bezel and stainless-steel case back. This lot contains a very desirable and hard to find Omega Men’s Early Model 285 Sweep Second Vintage Mechanical Wristwatch. The watch has a good functional crystal with slight imperfections, good yellow sweep second hand, good minute hand and hour hand. The watch has a good stem in genuine factory crown with the Omega Insignia. The watch has its original signed Omega dial that has not been refinished. The watch has a 10K yellow gold-filled bezel and stainless-steel case back. The case is 35mm in diameter and 42mm from lug tip to lug tip with a lug ID of 17.5mm. This is a large clean complete wrist watch. The watch has a good clean running 17 jewel sweep second model 285 vintage Omega wristwatch movement. The movement is exceptionally clean and has been well cared for. The movement has a good balance wheel, balance staff, and hairspring. The balance wheel swings freely with good motion and the movement. The movement winds, sets and ticks but does not make 24 hours so I will sell as NOT running. The watch has been stored away for over 40 years according to the paperwork found in the watchmaker’s shop.
