Money Clip Sterling Silver Black Starr Gorham Inscribed Mid-20th century American sterling silver money clip in plain designs, inscribed "Eddie Jackson" on the front and "Compliments of The Celestials" - on the back. Made by Black, Starr & Gorham, NYC c. 1940-1962. This handsome clip is 2 1/4" long, 1" wide, weighing 33.5 grams or 1.08 ozs Troy. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering. He shipped the wrong item, 6 demitasse spoons. We've all made that mistake. I understand. And I received a refund via Ebay and returned the spoons the next day. However, he made with me the understanding that if he got the strainer I bought he'd sell it back to me, same price. Now he won't answer my messages, has "ghosted" me, and has an identical piece for sale for over double what I purchased for. I didn't want the money, I wanted the silver. I can buy it elsewhere for a $65 premium. GRR
The candlesticks match the photographs. They are not exactly a double pair, but rather two pairs in an assembled set. Studying the photos more closely now, this was evident but not stated explicitly. One bobeche is very tight fit. However, they display well. I had reached out to the seller prior to the purchase but never received a reply to my questions so I cannot endorse his communication. Otherwise the transaction went fine, shipped quickly, packaged well.
Item was as described and nicer than expected. Price was appropriate for the item. Item was wrapped in bubblewrap and had packing peanuts inside the mailing box. The mailing box was addressed clearly and correctly. It was taped up extremely secure. It was very timely shipped out. It was shipped by USPS and tracking number was included. I will again purchase from this seller.
