The product says cowhide leather but feels very stiff not sure if it is real leather but it looks pretty as is shown in the pictures and is in new condition as described. I like special touch of a thank-you card came with it. The shipping was quick but pricey ( my honest feedback). Since then, I have only searched for "free-shipping" items.
