Classic white border postcard featuring the McHenry Library in Modesto, California. This handsome Beaux-Arts style building is shown in a full frontal view, with clear architectural detail including columns, decorative cornices, and wide front steps. Published as part of the Glosso Series by Pacific Novelty Co. of San Francisco, known for high-quality California views. This card dates from the 1910s–early 1920s , during the White Border era, and showcases Modesto’s civic architecture at the time.
I was very happy to see that something being shown as Out for Delivery was actually delivered the same day. I have had terrible experiences with USPS the past month, items postage due, marked undeliverable with the correct address, returned to sellers, even overseas. Something is very wrong with the combo of eBay packaging and USPS requirements. I am hesitant to even continue buying postcards off eBay.
