Author Biography Dafna Lazar was born and raised on a kibbutz in Israel. She received a master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin. She taught Hebrew at Boston University and other institutions, and is now teaching an adult Hebrew class in Tucson. She published in Israel a book of poetry, a book of letters, translations of prose and poetry, and numerous articles. She lives in Tucson and is now at work on Hebrew and English novels. She also completed a Hebrew novel, a long autobiographical Hebrew novel as well s a screenplay in English.
