In additional, can center / align the cover on the front seal or locates on the inside diameter of the seal bore in the cover without the seal installed. A centered cover means less of a chance for a seal to leak. 【Powerful Functions】 This tool mimics the balancer and oil pan to provide critical alignment of the oil pan and front cover, designed to be used in conjunction with the front cover alignment tool. For LS engine, the oil pan is a stressed member and adds to block rigidity. Loosely install the front cover; 2. Install the seal tool over the snout ofthe crankshaft using the large end; 3. Check the alignment to the oil pan; 4. Tighten the front cover bolts to specifications; 5. Install the balancer lip seal.
