Item was shipped promptly and in pristine (new condition). However, I made an offer indicating that the transaction could go through upon acceptance by the seller. My offer explicitly included tax amount. Seller did not inform me that Ebay charges the tax and did not deduct the tax amount from the amount of my purchase. If it were a higher ticket item, i would return it and fight with ebay. Lesson learned: Always give yourself the option to decline even if the offer is accepted.
