John Deere Collectible Bullet Pencils and Vintage Matchbook Set

1 matchbook & 3 pencils for a total of 4 pieces in this lot. Photo shows both sides of the matchbook to give you an idea. It is near mint to mint condition (the inside is plain with all matches intact and the match heads are JD green..of course) and the 3 pencils are new old stock from the company that used to make them for JD in the 60's or 70's. These are misprints Deere returned for the following reason, (or so I'm told). They have too many deer on them and had no room for the dealers name left. They came from a warehouse in Chicago where they set for years in a back corner. They are heavy plastic barrels with wood pencils and rubber erasers. They each have (3) 2 legged deer on them and were only supposed to have 2. These are not repro's but origional misprints. The matchpack has (2) four legged deer (1 on each side). I have had these items in my collection for over 30 years and they are as nice as the day they were new. See my other auctions. This item is from the Wenger collection. Item was in EXCELLENT condition. Arrived earlier than original quoted ETA (pleasant surprise). Based on the condition of the current order, I will be ordering a parts manual seller has for sale. Will not waste time with counter offers .
