During Holyrood Week, when Queen Elizabeth II stayed at the Palace each year, she hosted lunch in the Throne Room for the Knights and Ladies of the Order of the Thistle, the highest order of chivalry in Scotland. Mary, Queen of Scots' lived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, between 1561-1567. ~~~ An antique 1892 b/w half-tone lithograph depicting a scene from a time long-gone-by; a scene that may even no longer exist. Print is mailed in tube...and, therefore, may have to be mailed separately.
