Handmade in India,Blue Brocade Sequin Beaded Satin Floral Jewelry Box w/ Mirror. This box is covered in an "antiqued-gold" COLORED (Sari Style) Silk Tapestry orBROCADE, with a floral pattern throughout and then decorated with TURQUOISE sequins and Aqua glass beads and Opalescent flower-shaped sequins and tiny gold micro-beads in a swirly floral pattern. ~~~~-~~~~~-~~~~~-~~~~~ From my personal collection of fancy Jewelry Boxes. Since I collect a lot of jewelry, I also collect various jewelry boxes in which all my jewelry is organized into. This is one of my "extra" boxes that I don't need and am now selling. It reminds me of the Shabby Chic boxes that Rachel Ashwell collects too. ..~~..~~~.~~DESCRIPTION~~.~~~..~~.. Handmade. Beautifully hand-crafted with no missing beads. Padded Jewelry Box. Vintage: Over 30 years old. Rectangular. This Box was well-taken care of, and stored away until now. STYLE: I call this a "shabby chic" style box, since this box is just like the boxes that home-decorator Rachel Ashwell displays in her home (if you've ever read any of Rachel's home decorating books called "Shabby Chic Home"). . This box is covered in an "antiqued-gold" COLORED (Sari Style) Silk Tapestry or BROCADE, with a floral pattern throughout and then decorated with TURQUOISE sequins and Aqua glass beads and Opalescent flower-shaped sequins and tiny gold micro-beads in a swirly floral pattern. The top lifts up with a satin ribbon {type} "handle". . Inside the box there is a 5-ring compartment on the right, and then a deep compartment for other types of jewelry on the left. The inside is LINED with a pretty ivory colored silky SATIN. . Inside the lid, there is a MIRROR that is 5X3 inches in size. . MARKINGS= The bottom has a tiny white sticker that says "Made in India". Also, as can be seen in the photo, there's a square shaped TRANSPARENT TAPE on the bottom where a sticker once was that said "Handmade in India". I own several boxes like this and they do say "handmade in India" but for some reason this box is missing that tag underneath. . MEASUREMENTS= This jewelry box is Medium-Small in size. It is 7 inches long & 5 inches wide & 3 inches deep. . NO Strange odors. It smells good. Plus it comes from a non-smoking home. . If you have any questions, please message me. . . . Lot # 251 BK:6
