Description

This listing is for one of my handmade 1 1/2” wide bulls hide leather gun belts. This belt is made from a very nice piece of bulls hide from a full shoulder. The belt is made from two pieces of leather; the front is 9-10 oz bulls hide and the backing/lining is from a smooth piece of 4-5 oz leather. Together these two pieces are a ¼” thick. The front and lining are hand-sewn together with white waxed thread using a saddle stitch for strength. The belt has 7 oval holes. This belt has the strength to hold the weight of a holster/magazine pouch or any other type of heavy equipment. These types of belts are considered gun belts because they are thick, stiff, and won't stretch or sag under the weight of a gun. Finish; one coat of Neatsfoot Oil front and back, two coats of leather dye on the front and back, two coats of clear matte finish front and back. I sealed the edges of the belt with wax too for strength.
