The "HARLEQUIN JEWELRY BOX" is a handcrafted rectangular jewelry box made with black and white bone inlay. It includes a gift box and has a velvet lining. Suitable for storing various types of jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, cufflinks, earrings, and body jewelry. This unique jewelry box is available at MOMA Gift Shop. A imported by Harlequin Co, for MOMA/NYC. 98 till 2000, Inlaid all over Jewelry Box, we bought the last one the shop demo, as it was/is condition, they couldn't find org box, so they packaged in regular brown corrugated along with numerous other items, some are shown in one of photos and do not come with empty box ain as we bought it orginal condition. Looks just like it di in store/gift shop at MOMA, 5/2000. Outside measurements are: 12.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall at center, and 8 inches in depth/sides, has the one lift out lid and more space below. A Little dusty, but very good org condition, quite heavy actually empty, as is, condition. They told us these were imported by one of their suppliers from Africa and it is part US Trade Program to/for Aid, Black and White Bone inlays abound all around, pretty well done, well made, strong feeling. Pls it in some ways helps education in an African Village, per MOMA sales lady!
