This is a hand woven Wayuu large Mochila Bag which comes from Colombia. The Wayuu people of Colombia and Venezuela have been weaving these beautiful Mochila bags for generations. The Wayuu are matriarchal tribe and these labor intensive mochila bags are all made by women. Very intriguing and highly desirable, this pouch is 11 inches long and 12.5 inches wide. This bag has a drawstring which closes the top tight when desired. Love this little baby agatized peteified wood. It's so pretty and looks lovely with other similar pieces from this shop. It's as described through images and the historical information she posted. OMG!...A sweetheart seller, an important drum and she packed with such care and was so very nice and the drum...just unbelievably perfect.
