The Godzilla molding was created to consider the shape of Godzilla, which appears in the first work of the Godzilla series, "Godzilla" (1954). At the stage of sculptural consideration, it was a design that looked like the body was covered with scales, which was different from the Godzilla's figure that is now widely known.
