  1. The Sobek statue I ordered from Excavations is gorgeous. It's beautifully carved from a large chunk of granite. The price was reasonable for something so hefty and handmade, shipped all the way from Cairo to the US. Communication from the seller was exceptional. Packaging was very secure - a firm wood box with plenty of foam wrap. Despite customs opening the box to inspect the statue, it arrived unscathed, appearing exactly as described in the listing. I highly recommend this seller.
