A paradox: the ruby/rose-hued 6mm druks in this 20" memory-wire bracelet aren't really made of pink glass. At least, not in the same way that most colors of glass exist; if you took one of these 6mm druks and ground it into fine powder or subjected it to total meltdown, the result would look completely different from the original bead. See, most other colorants act like cobalt in blue glass or manganese in purple glass, in that the work is being done by the inherent properties of the metal ions. But in the case of this particular shade of rose-red, the color depends on strictly controlling the way that the individual atoms of gold (yes, gold) bunch together in the molten glass. If the heating and cooling processes aren't timed just right, the color vanishes. Which doesn't really have that much to do with this particular bracelet, but I just think it's really neat trivia :) Righty-ho, so I already mentioned the 6mm "gold-ruby" druks; I've combined them here with 8mm druks of "confetti crystal" that're streaked with pink, blue, and green, as well as several different flavors of cobalt blue: 4mm druks, 10mm fire-polished faceted rounds, and bellflower caps at the ends.
