General Description Based on the results of the Academy edition's critical revisions, the Japanese edition's original editing, translation, explanations, and detailed notes provide a new foundation for Hegel research and the latest image of Hegel, making this a long-awaited full-fledged complete collection that renews previous related works.In January 1801, Hegel moved from Frankfurt to Jena and began his career as a philosophy teacher. With the publication of ``Treatise on Difference'' (1801), he began to discuss philosophical issues as his own for the first time. During his Jena period, when he was on the path to ``his own philosophy,'' Hegel sought ``one true philosophy,'' and refined the concept of a ``philosophical system.'' Volumes 5, 6, and 7 of this complete collection contain manuscripts from 1803–06 called the ``Jena Period System Concept.'' These texts are a record of the origin of the development of original and rich thinking that led to the Phenomenology of Spirit (1807), which is the culmination of the Jena period and is called the first part of the system of science, and the systematization of science developed in Logic (1812–16) and Encyclopaedia (1817, 27, 30). This volume includes ``Jena Period System Concept II: Logic, Metaphysics, and Nature (May 1804),'' which developed the important concepts of Hegel's philosophy such as ``infinity,'' ``negativity,'' and ``absolute spirit,'' which continued from ``System Concept I.'' Also included as an appendix are fragments written around the same time, more detailed explanations, and a comprehensive index.
