Up for SALE is a USED Campbell Okmulgee, OK, Wire or Rope Pulley Block - Combination Type Pulley. Has a 3,000 pound working load, weighs about 8 lbs, made of aluminum alloys with steel shafts and bearings. This is a Heavy Duty Professional / Industrial / Utility tool used when installing the large wires onto electrical poles in our neighborhoods and for threading wire or rope overhead from pole to pole, building to building or tree to tree. This item is complete other than the lower Crossarm / cross-bar single handle-screw used to hold this assembly to the pole cross beam. Sheave bearing sounds like it is either a needle roller bearing or ball bearing - but I'm not sure. Use this as originally intended or use for a special project or just hang it on the wall of your Man Cave. This item is light, considering its size and the H.D. rating it carries. Bought recently at an estate sale in a box of stuff, I got what I wanted out of the box, this needs to go - I have no use for this. Campbell website lists this as used with / having a conductor capacity of 1" without liners, 3/4" with liners, has a 5" sheave and is ready to go to work. Or great for your man-cave display. Campbel Company DESCRIPTION These blocks are very useful because they may be used in many applications as shown in the accompanying illustrations. Many built-in features include captive cable retaining pin that prevents the conductor escaping from the block. The crossarm grips are designed to clamp all arms 4" x 6" or smaller. A single handle-screw quickly and easily actuates the grips which may be removed if other attachments are to be used. The block frames and sheave are made from high-strength aluminum alloys. The edges are rounded to prevent chaffing of the conductor. All steel parts are plated to prevent rusting. A choice of self-lubricating bronze, ball, or tapered roller bearings is offered. The tapered bearing absorbs side loads (THRUST), and assures free-turning sheaves when either stringing or sagging.
