Further Details Title: Bootleg Series 4: Live 1966 - Royal Albert Concert Condition: New Format: CD Description: PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Cited as "the most famous bootleg album of all time," this set represents the 1st official release of the legendary "Royal Albert Hall" concert, actually recorded in Manchester, England in '66. Hear it as it's never been heard before, in a fresh mix straight from the master tapes. Highlights include solo acoustic performances ("Mr. Tambourine Man"), Bob backed by the Band (a.k.a. The Hawks) and more! Deluxe slipcase package with 2 CDs and bound 56-page booklet. AMAZON 1998: the same year he dances with Soy Bomb at the Grammys, his record label finally issues Bob Dylan's ultimate live document. A classic case of not giving the audience what they want but what they need, Mr. Dylan's oft-bootlegged 1966 gig begins with lovely and supple folk that foreshadows folk music's turn from protest song to introspection. The album's true highlight is the legendarily ill received and rocked-out electric set, with Dylan backed by members of the Band. There are too many perfect, on-fire guitar solos by Robbie Robertson to count, and Dylan himself responds to the audience's angry bewilderment with equal parts menace, grace, and brilliance. --Mike McGonigal Genre: Pop EAN: 0074646575925 Release Date: 1998 Country/Region of Manufacture: Germany Artist: Bob Dylan No Of Discs: 2 Record Label: Import Language: English Release Year: 1998 Missing Information? I've ordered from Rarewaves here in the US and the UK multiple times, and continue to do so. They always seem to have something I can't find anywhere else at all or for a reasonable price. When I purchase used items, they are as described, if not a grade better. Aways a quick turnaround after ordering, every item arrives promptly, professionally packaged. Many orders have free shipping, even for solitary item orders. I never needed a reason to communicate, as I've had no cause. Recommended.
Received item as described and packaged well. Listing indicated shipping was free. Ordered on the 7th but by the 14th noticed it hadn’t been shipped yet. Seller responded quickly saying that during the purchase process that it said it would not be shipped until the 22nd because they use a fulfillment house. I don’t recall seeing anything about delayed shipping during the process or in the listing. While I appreciate the prompt response to my inquiry, other buyers should be aware of delays.
The book was brand still plastic wrapped. Looks exactly like the picture for a reasonable price including shipping. In perfect condition. Shipping was slow and I was worried that I was scammed again. Seller did respond to my message after a day and explained the item would be shipped within a week. The item shipping and tracking was updated by the date they stated. Took about 2 weeks to receive item. I’m usually impressed when item is shipped and received within a week.
